Nowhere is the atmosphere of the hotel embodied as strongly as the Madonna Room. Stained-glass windows and book-lined shelves nod to the Palace’s 120-year history, as does the enormous “Sistine Madonna”, from the easel of the famous Italian painter Raphael. The Madonna Room can be connected with the Veranda East and is fully licensed for civil weddings.

The wooden floor is partially laid with carpet, conveying an intimate, residential feel. Dating from the 15th Century, the Bergeller Stübli is the former private dining room of the Badrutt family. The quaint wooden walls and ceiling envelop your group in charm. Today, the Bergeller Stübli is part of our IGNIV restaurant, but can be reserved for small private functions.
